Some thoughts on today's scripture: Luke 24:36b

I take some time to listen to Jesus say to me,

'Peace be with you.'

He repeats his greeting as he notices my reaction,
my hesitations and my doubts.

I think of the relationships and situations
with which I am concerned and, with Jesus, pray, ‘

Peace be with you.’

I imagine them blossoming and being the best
they can be. I prepare myself to be a blessing.
