We worship with the entire universe.
“Praise him you highest skies” Psalm 148.1
On Cosmos Sunday
God, our Creator, as we reflect on the mysteries of the cosmos, we celebrate the wondrous design of the universe and the Wisdom that guides its course. Help us to discern how we are connected with living members of the cosmic community. Teach us to sense the presence of the cosmic Christ, whose presence fills and reconciles all forces in creation.
We thank God for a wondrous planet home, connected with a web of worlds we call the cosmos.
We pray for all those in need in our world. Amen
A FRIEND
He came to me when my heart was sad;
He didn’t have much to say;
But the fire of love was in his eyes,
And the clouds were chased away.
He came to me when hope was dim,
When I walked in a black, black way;
But he gave the grip of a brother’s hand,
And the dark was changed to day.
