Luke 9:28-36

The disciples were encouraged as they saw Jesus as he really is. Accompanied by Moses and Elijah he was guided by the law and by the prophets. I seek this balance too, drawing on the wisdom that comes from tradition and from vision.

Peter wanted to stay with the glorious moment. I pray that I might appreciate the blessings that I have received, even as I try to not to get stuck in the past.
